ABOUT ME
I recently completed a Bachelor’s degree (Hons) in Software Development at South East Technological University (SETU), Carlow, with a strong interest in web and back-end development, as well as mobile, cloud, and DevOps-related technologies.
I enjoy building practical software projects from planning and implementation to testing, documentation, and deployment. My final-year Android project, Smart Marathon Runner, received the Netwatch Software Development Award at the SETU Carlow Showcase 2026.
MY SKILLS
Front-end
Experience with HTML5, CSS3, responsive design, and JavaScript fundamentals. I focus on building clean, accessible, and user-friendly interfaces for web projects and portfolio pages.
Back-end
Strong foundation in Java, Object-Oriented Programming, PHP, MVC architecture, REST APIs, and application logic. I enjoy writing structured, maintainable code and connecting front-end interfaces with back-end functionality.
Database
Experience with MySQL, ER diagrams, SQL queries, and database administration tools. I am also expanding my knowledge in cloud computing, AWS fundamentals, Docker, and deployment workflows.
